I have been involved in computer science education and research for over 20 years. In 2006, I defended my doctoral thesis in computer science regarding IT security and in 2016 I obtained a post-doctoral degree also in this subject.

Currently, I am head of the Department of Cybersecurity at the Kozminski University in Warsaw.

I am the creator of a new language for modeling security systems QoP-ML, cryptographic protocols, cyberspace protection mechanisms and technological solutions for teaching computer science. I am the author or co-author of over 50 scientific papers published in international journals and presented at many international conferences.

In 2023, my scientific dream came true and, together with my colleagues, I published a paper in Nature Communication.

I am the author of several books in the field of teaching computer science, in particular in the field of cybersecurity, including one published by the renowned CRC Press in New York.

My main interests concern new technologies in education, distance learning, algorithms for individual learning paths, applied cryptography, increasing cybersecurity awareness, DDoS attacks, banking attacks and artificial intelligence.
